If you want to make sure that you are going to get a good, clear window, you’re going to have to do something simple, and it starts with making your own solution. Don’t buy the chemical compounds found in stores, instead, make your own, and go DIY for a great clean option. Clarity is everything, and you can definitely get this done properly.

Water Is Key

Don’t just use any old tap. You need to make sure that you need to have water that is not hard. Hard water will cause problems with spotting and issues. Make sure that you focus on softer options, or even deionized solution. The wrong water will absolutely change the complexion of your output, so don’t just go with tap water if you have hard water in the pipes, simple as that. If you have a filtered solution, go that route.

Adding To The Water

Water is the first thing, but the next thing that you need to look into is adding a little bit of dish washing solution. Use n more than 2 teaspoons. This is very important, do not use a lot, you don’t want a lot of suds, and you don’t want residue. You’re going to have to use very little here. You can add vinegar to your solution and get a little more cleaning power, specifically with windows. Just make sure that you are not allowing the solution to settle on rubber or vinyl gaskets that could cause leaks in your window frames. Make sure that you use a gliding squeegee or you’re not going to get a clean window. You want this to be absolutely slick, and made for windows.
